Incomplete

The missing pieces
Of a delicate puzzle
Connected somehow
But still amiss.

Everyone I see
Is broken, Incomplete
In a unique way
'Beautifully'.

Broken mannequins
Walk the streets
As their shadows cry
'foul play'

It's a losing battle
everyday
As we break more
We get down
Get thrown around.

Just animated pieces of dead meat.

Life wasn't supposed to be hard
Should have connected the pieces
And completed the puzzle, but
We chose otherwise.
